What Motion Prep does, and where it still needs care.
Motion Prep saves repetitive prep time on After Effects handoffs. It does not promise that every production file will open perfectly.
The best improvements come from the messy PSD files and difficult PSB/AI cases people actually receive at work.
Source files: Motion Prep does not overwrite your source PSD, PSB, AI or original imported comp.
Platform: Motion Prep 1.0.0 is packaged for macOS and Adobe After Effects CEP extensions.
Production scope: The tool focuses on opening folder timelines, keeping source-folder colors, analysis and original preservation.
Figma Connect: Figma support is a preview workflow until the export path is fully hardened.
Known limits: Complex masks, blend modes, effects, Illustrator structures and production rigs may still need manual review.
Support: Motion Prep users can send install issues and files that do not open cleanly through the support template.
Refunds: Paid access includes a 14-day refund window if Motion Prep does not help with the type of handoff you bought it for.
License: One purchase covers one user on their own machines. Team or studio use should use one seat per motion designer unless a separate studio license is arranged.
Updates: Launch customers receive Motion Prep 1.0.x maintenance updates when available.
File review: Motion Prep users can send problem files for review. Only send files you are allowed to share.
Privacy: Shared files are used only to investigate Motion Prep behavior, reproduce issues and improve the product. Files are not redistributed, not used for marketing without permission and can be deleted on request.
